This dish is the perfect compliment to a Sunday roast dinner! Ingredients:
2 bunches broccoli |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 can cream of celery soup |
1 small block velveeta cheese, cubed |
1 pkg sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
1 box ritz crackers |
1 small white onion, diced |
1 tbsp mayonnaise |
1 tbsp butter |
pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Wash and cut broccoli 2. Put just enough water in boiler to cover bottom 3. Cook broccoli, butter, pepper and onion until broccoli changes color 4. Drain 5. In large bowl, mix soups, Velveeta cheese and 1/2 box of crumbled Ritz crackers 6. Stir until well mixed 7. Pour in casserole dish 8. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top 9. Add other half of crumbled Ritz crackers 10. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes 11. Serve warm |
