my mom found this recipe years ago in a southern cookbook and it's been a family favorite ever since. recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) bag broccoli (pieces works best) |
1 lb sausage |
1.1 (1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup |
Directions:
1. scramble sausage, drain and set aside. 2. layer frozen broccoli into bottom of an oven safe pan. 3. layer cooked and drained sausage. 4. add cream of mushroom (no need to mix ingredients). 5. add cheddar cheese soup. 6. bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minute or until heated through. |
