Broccoli Baked With Cheese Sauce |

Ingredients:
2 pounds fresh broccoli, cleaned and cooked |
2 tablespoons chopped onion |
3 tablespoons butter or margarine |
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
2 1/2 cups milk |
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/8 teaspoon ground marjoram |
1/4 cup (1 ounce) shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Place broccoli in a 12- x 8- x 2-inch baking dish. Saute onion in butter; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, mustard, pepper, paprika, and marjoram; stir until cheese melts. Spoon sauce over broccoli; bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top; bake 5 minutes. |
