This salad was served at an employee lucheon. We were disappointed that it was the main course but once served it was delicious and the star of the meeting. Ingredients:
3 cups broccoli flowerettes, washed |
1 pkg. turkey bacon, cooked until crisp |
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese |
1 cup sliced red onion |
1 cup grape tomatoes |
2 cans waterchestnuts, drained |
1 16 ounce bottle of ranch dressing |
Directions:
1. After the bacon has been cooked slice or tear in bite size pieces (about 1 inch). 2. Place all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl except 1/2 cup of cheese and 1/4 cup of bacon pieces. 3. Mix ingredients with Ranch dressing just enough to get vegetables partially coated. Do not over mix or the tomatoes will bruise. 4. Place mixture in a large serving dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese and bacon pieces |
