Broccoli/Bacon/Raisin Salad |

I found this in a Southern Cooking cookbook. I had to make something for a Mother's Day family gathering and thru this together. Let's put it this way, there was none left and everyone wanted the receipe! Ingredients:
1 bunch fresh broccoli, washed, drained and broken into flowerettes |
1/2 cup chopped red onion |
1 cup celery, chopped |
1 lb bacon, fried crisp, drained and crumbled |
1/2 cup sunflower seeds |
1/2 cup raisins |
3/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
Directions:
1. Combine salad ingredients together in large mixing bowl. Set aside. Combine dressing ingredients together thoroughly. Pour dressing over salad ingredients; stir to blend. Serve chilled. Refrigerate leftovers (if there are any). |
