Broccoli And Rice Casserole |

This dish makes my tummy happy (and I am not a big rice eater) and the waterchestnuts add a yummy texture. Ingredients:
3 cups cooked rice |
3 tbsp butter |
1 box frozen broccoli |
1 can chicken soup |
1 can mushroom soup |
3/4 jar large cheese whiz |
2 stalks celery, chopped |
1/2 cup mushrooms |
1 cup onion, chopped |
1 clove garlic, chopped |
1 can water chestnuts, chopped (optional) |
Directions:
1. Sauté celery, mushrooms, onion and garlic. Add soups, Cheese Whiz and rice and mix thoroughly. Place in casserole dish and bake 325 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. |
