This super side dish is the perfect complement to your holiday menu. Here's a sure-fire way to get your kids to eat their vegetables. and don't be surprised when they're asking for more. Ingredients:
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup |
1/2 cup milk |
2 teaspoons yellow mustard |
1 (16 ounce) bag frozen broccoli florets, thawed |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs |
2 teaspoons butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Stir the soup, milk, mustard, broccoli and cheese in a 1 1/2-qt. casserole dish. 2. Mix the bread crumbs with the butter in a small bowl and sprinkle over the broccoli mixture. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot. 4. Tips: Rice Is Nice: Add 2 cups cooked white rice to the broccoli mixture. 5. Cheese Change-Up: Use mozzarella cheese for Cheddar. |
