This is a quick and easy holiday appetizer that looks pretty. Please use chutney of choice. I canned a pear/apple chutney that had kick but I would also think that a mango chutney or something along this line would be incredible too! Read more ! =D Ingredients:
1 8-ounce round of brie cheese |
5 t. mango or whatever kind of chutney you enjoy |
assorted crackers or toasted crisps |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Split the Brie in half horizontally. Snip any large pieces of chutney. Place bottom half of cheese in a small shallow ovenproof dish. Top with 4 Tablespoons of the chutney. Top with remaining cheese half. Spread remaining 1 Tablespoon chutney over top of cheese. 2. Bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is softened but not runny. Serve with crackers. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
