These are lovely appetizers. They could even be served as a little dessert. They look like you worked all day but can be put together in 15 minutes and they bake in 5 minutes. Great with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Read more . These come out of the Taste of the Home. Ingredients:
1/2 cup of crushed gingersnaps. ( i used some gingerbread cookies i had left over.) i think any crisp little cookie would work. you could even make them without the cookies. |
6 ounces brie rind removed and cubed |
1/4 cup spreadable fruit ( i used strawberry and raspberry to give a choice. ) |
1 package of phyllo cups ( these can be found in the frozen food department at the grocery store) they come in packages of 15. |
Directions:
1. Place the tart shells on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon gingersnap crumbs into each shell: top with Brie and spreadable fruit. Bake at 325 for 5 minutes or until cheese is 2. melted. Yield 15 |
