So tasty, even for a picky family! These will go fast! Ingredients:
1 medium leek, finely chopped (white portion only) |
1 garlic clove, minced |
3 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream |
1 dash salt |
1 dash white pepper |
1 dash ground nutmeg |
1 (2 ounce) package frozen miniature phyllo tart shells |
2 ounces brie cheese or 2 ounces camembert cheese, rind removed |
Directions:
1. In a small skillet, saute leek and garlic in butter until tender. 2. Add the cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. 3. Place tart shells on a baking sheet. 4. Slice cheese into 15 pieces; place one piece in each tart shell. 5. Top each with 1 1/2 tsp leek mixture. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes or until heated through. 7. Refrigerate leftovers. |
