So easy and so good for you. Fabulous over yogurt or ice cream! Ingredients:
6 cups rolled oats |
1 cup nuts, chopped |
1 tsp salt |
1 cup shredded coconut |
1/2 cup sesame seed |
2 tsps cinnamon |
1/3 cup flax seed, ground |
4 ounces apricots, dried and chopped |
4 ounces dates, dried and chopped |
3/4 cup honey |
1/3 cup maple syrup |
1 tsp vanilla |
1/3 cup olive oil |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl combine the oats, nuts, salt, coconut, sesame seeds, flax, cinnamon, and dried fruit. 2. In a separate bowl, combine honey, vanilla, and oil. 3. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix thouroughly. Spead the mixture on 2 large cookie sheets and bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Store in a tightly covered container. |
