These burgers are my husband's favorite.The spices compliment the burgers quite a bit. Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef |
1/2 red onion, chopped |
1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 teaspoon brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon lawry's seasoned salt |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce, of choice |
1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients into ground beef. 2. Mix like a meatloaf using hands to ensure mixture of all ingredients. 3. shape into 4 hamburger patties, making sure they are not too thick. 4. Grill on barbecue or indoor grill until no longer pink in middle. 5. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. |
