Breakfast Sausage Patties |

A great addition to any breakfast. Much tastier then the storebought kind. Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork |
2 tsp sugar |
2 tsp pure maple syrup |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes |
1/8 tsp garlic powder |
1 tbsp fennel seed |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl combine pork with all of the ingredients. 2. With a fork, mix to blend thoroughly. 3. Divide mixture into 8 equal portions. 4. Flatten each portioned section into a 4-inch round patty. 5. In a skillet fry each side for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. |
