This recipe was given to me by a dear friend who has since passed away. It's a delicious breakfast treat for Christmas morning or anytime you want something quick but special. Ingredients:
2 (8 oz.) pkg. crescent rolls |
10 lg. eggs |
1/2 c. milk |
1/2 tsp. dry mustard |
1/2 tsp. black pepper |
1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained |
2 - 3 c. hash browns o'brien |
2 - 3 c. shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 deg. 2. Lightly grease a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 jellyroll pan. Unfold dinner rolls and place in pan. 3. Press seams together and up sides of pan. I 4. n a bowl, whisk together eggs, mustard, milk and pepper. 5. Sprinkle sausage and potatoes over rolls. 6. Sprinkle cheese over top of potatoes. Pour egg mixture over top of cheese and allow to settle for 10 min. 7. Bake 40 - 50 min. until pizza is solid with no liquid in center. 8. Cool slightly and cut into squares. |
