Love cooking with crescent rolls...They make life so much easier sometimes Ingredients:
1-8 oz. can crescent rolls |
6 small new potatoes |
1 medium green pepper, chopped |
1 cup canadian bacon, chopped |
1/2 tsp. oregano |
1 tbls. butter |
1 cup gouda cheese, shredded and divided |
1 cup colby jack cheese, shredded and divided |
5 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup milk |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 2. Grease 12 inch pizza pan 3. Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles 4. In pizza pan, point elongated points towards center of pan 5. Press bottom and sides to form crust and rim 6. Seal perforations 7. Bake for 5-6 minutes 8. Remove from oven (crust will be puffy) 9. Reduce oven to 350 10. Cook potatoes until tender 11. Cool and peel off skins 12. Slice into 1/4 inch slices 13. In skillet over medium heat, melt butter 14. Add green pepper, bacon and oregano and saute for 2 minutes or so 15. Spread half of pepper mixture onto crust 16. Top with potato slices 17. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of each cheese 18. In mixing bowl, add eggs, milk and salt and pepper and combine 19. Pour over pizza 20. Sprinkle with remaining pepper mixture and cheese 21. Bake for 30 minutes |
