From St. John's Church Cookbook 2004 (Fox Lake, WI). The recipe doesn't say how long to bake these, and the yield is also a guess! Ingredients:
6 eggs |
1 cup butter |
2 cups brown sugar |
1 1/2 cups honey |
9 cups oatmeal |
4 teaspoons baking soda |
18 -24 ounces peanut butter |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1 cup powdered milk |
1 cup golden raisin |
1 cup dates |
1 (6 ounce) package dried mixed fruit, chopped |
12 ounces chocolate chips (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Mix all ingredients in order. 3. Use a tablespoon to make large scoops. Flatten to 3/4 of an inch. 4. Bake until done (recipe doesn't say how long!). Do not overbake. 5. These freeze well for a quick breakfast or snack. |
