Nana Lee, I guess maybe it is a Southern thing but I thought everyone made this. Goes good with biscuits, sliced tomatoes, mashed potatoes, and chicken fried steak. This is super easy. Ingredients:
1/4 cup bacon drippings |
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
4 cups milk |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix bacon grease and flour in a skillet over medium heat until medium brown, stirring constantly. 2. Add milk, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil. 3. Gravy should be medium thick. 4. Serve. |
