Lots of leftover meats and tasty good stuffs Ingredients:
3-4 cups cooked rice leftovers are great |
1 lb sliced bacon cut into 1/2 inch pieces |
1 med onion chopped |
1 cup frozen peas or peas and carrots, or none |
2 beaten eggs |
thinly sliced green onions |
any or all leftover meats chopped thin |
any freshly chopped veggies you like or none |
salt, pepper,soy sauce sugar to taste |
Directions:
1. brown bacon and onions til soft , do not drain 2. add other meats and stir together warming through 3. add rice to meat/onion mixture and combine well, breaking up lumps of rice and mixing well 4. Run hot water over frozen veggies and add to mixture or just add leftover ones 5. as well as possible, move all ingredients to one side of pan/pot 6. add beaten eggs to the cleared place and stir into other ingredients 7. season with salt and pepper and soy sauce to taste 8. a little water and sugar can be added to improve texture and flavor. 9. serve from the pot or place in large bowl kept warm |
