A quick, nutritious breakfast on-the-go. I soak my oats in any juice- 1cup oats to 1 cup liquid. These are all approximate measurements. Adjust according to taste. I use stick blender. This is not a thick drink. Water can be replaced with milk or I guess any liquid you like. Ingredients:
3 -4 tablespoons pre-soaked oats |
1 tablespoon honey |
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional) |
2 tablespoons greek yogurt |
1 teaspoon molasses (optional) |
1 teaspoon protein powder |
fruit (fresh or tinned, to equivalent of about 1/2 banana) |
nuts (optional) |
1/2 cup water, depends on amount and kind of fruit used |
Directions:
1. Put everything in measuring jug and blend with stick blender. |
