A nice hot breakfast with not the usual ingredients Ingredients:
1/2 cup skim milk or 1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 teaspoons maple syrup |
2 tablespoons raisins |
1/4 cup uncooked couscous |
ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Heat milk, vanilla, maple syrup, and raisins in a saucepan over medium heat until hot and steamy. DO NOT BOIL! 2. Stir in couscous, cover, and remove from heat. 3. Let stand for 5 minutes. 4. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve warm. |
