A friend gave this to me. They are great for kids (no sugar) and you can substitute the wheat germ with more oats, and modify the spices to your liking. Ingredients:
3 bananas (mashed) |
1/2 cup applesauce |
2 cups oats |
1/2 cup wheat germ |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Mix all ingredients well. 3. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased (or silpat lined) baking sheet. 4. Bake for 15-20 minutes. |
