I tried this recipe a few years ago with my daughter's 4 h group. very tasty with a glass of milk or juice. chock-full of bacon,raisins, and cornflakes and very handy for breakfast on the go. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1 cup flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled |
2 cups corn flakes |
1/2 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. beat in egg. 2. add flour and baking soda; mix well. 3. stir in raisins,cornfakes,and bacon. 4. drop by rounded tablespoon 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. 5. bake in preheatede oven 350 for 15-18 minutes or unti lightly browned. cool for 2 minuted before removing to wire rack. 6. store in refrigerator. 7. rewarm in microwave for few seconds. yummy ! |
