This is an incredible recipe loaded with great orange and cream cheese flavors. Though special on Christmas day, it is good all year round. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls |
2 tablespoons melted butter |
2 ounces cream cheese softened |
1 cup confectioners' sugar |
red and green sugar |
1 teaspoon grated orange peel |
3 tablespoons granulated sugar |
2 tablespoons orange juice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Slice 2 packages crescent rolls do not unroll into 11 equal pieces and flatten.
3. On ungreased cookie sheet then arrange 10 pieces into a triangle to form tree.
4. Use last piece to make trunk.
5. Combine butter, sugar and grated orange peel then brush on dough and bake 20 minutes.
6. Meanwhile cream the cream cheese with powdered sugar and orange juice.
7. Brush on baked rolls and sprinkle with red and green sugar.
