Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds pork sausage |
3 to 4 bread slices, cubed |
1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese |
9 large eggs |
3 cups milk |
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook sausage in a skillet, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink; drain well. 2. Arrange bread cubes in bottom of a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Top with sausage and cheese. 3. Whisk together eggs and next 4 ingredients; pour evenly over cheese. Cover and chill 8 hours. 4. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until set. |
