This is a special Christmas breakfast casserole. Its very easy to make but tastes like it took all morning.. Ingredients:
12 eggs |
1/3 loaf bread |
1 lb breakfast sausage |
1 cup of shredded cheese |
2 cups milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 red pepper |
1 green pepper |
Directions:
1. Grease 13x9 pan. 2. Cook Sausage in pan, drain. 3. Cut bread into 1 inch cubes. 4. Beat eggs with milk, salt and mustard 5. Layer bread cubes, sausage and cheese in dish. 6. Pour egg mixture over bread. 7. Add peppers and sprinkle with cheese. 8. Refrigerate overnight. 9. Bake for 45 minutes at 350. |
