Rib sticking breakfast to either get you started on your day or put you back on the counch watching your favorite saterday morning tv show Ingredients:
2 potatoes |
1 small onions |
4 eggs |
2 polish sausage |
country gravy( your favorite recipe) |
1/2 cupshredded cheddar cheese |
salt to taste |
pepper to taste |
garlic powder to taste |
vegatable oil 1/2 cup |
sugar |
Directions:
1. wash and cut potatoes into to 1/4 inch cubed pieces 2. chop onions 3. fry potatoes in vegetable 4. after you get potatoes well on there way to cooking add onions 5. add to taste, salt, pepper, garlic powder and sugar ( this helps caramelize the potatoes) 6. cook potatoes til fork tender 7. cut sausage into about same size pieces as potatoes 8. add to potatoes and heat through 9. divide on to two plates 10. fry to eggs per person and place on top of potatoes and sausage 11. make your favorite country gravy and pour over eggs potatoes and sauge mixture 12. top with desired amount of shredded cheese 13. good served with tortillas, biscuits or buttered toast and fresh fruit 14. pinch |
