I have a daughter who is up at 5 for sports every morning and trying to get something into her before she walks out the door started to grate on me...Came up with these. Success!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup soya maragarine
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg of miniature marshmallows
4 cups rice krispies
1 cup bran buds
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup silvered almonds (have used pecans or walnuts as well)
Directions:
1. grease a 9 x 13 pan
2. In a large pot over low heat melt margarine.
3. Add marshmallows and stir constantly till melted, add vanilla
4. add remaining ingredients and stir to coat.
5. pour into greased pan and let sit till firm
6. cut into bars
