A great way to start your day! Just add a bit of fresh fruit and you're on your way.... * You can vary this recipe by using other types of preserves and/or nuts. My favorite is cherry pecan Ingredients:
4 cups quick-cooking oats |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup orange marmalade, plus |
1 tablespoon orange marmalade |
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts |
1 cup coconut |
3/4 cup butter, plus |
1 tablespoon butter |
Directions:
1. Combine oats, brown sugar and salt. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well. 3. Press into a 15 x 10 x 1 greased baking pan. 4. Bake at 375 for 20-22 minutes or til golden brown. |
