This is a fun and yummy breakfast that's great for a snack or dessert as well! Ingredients:
1 apple, cored and chopped |
1/2 cup crispy rice cereal squares (such as rice chex®), crushed |
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
2 teaspoons coconut oil |
1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries (optional) |
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Place the apple, rice cereal, cinnamon, and coconut oil into a microwave-safe bowl. 2. Cook in a microwave oven until the coconut oil has melted, 30 to 45 seconds. Stir to combine. 3. Serve topped with berries and walnuts, if desired. |
