Delicious and easy! I've made this before without the 2 hour stint in the fridge, but it really does help the BBQ flavor permeate the pork chops. Ingredients:
1 egg |
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce |
1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs |
2 teaspoons parmesan cheese, grated |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/8-1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning |
1/8 teaspoon onion salt |
2 pork chops, bone in (3/4 inch thick) |
Directions:
1. Combine the egg and barbecue sauce; mix well. 2. Combine bread crumbs, cheese, oregano, lemon-pepper and salt. 3. Dip chops in egg mixture, then coat with bread crumb mixture. 4. Place in a greased 8-inch baking dish. 5. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. 6. Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 1 hour or until juices run clear. |
