Delicious as an appetizer or served with a salad as a meal... Ingredients:
2 cups mushrooms (cleaned) |
1/2 cup milk |
1 egg |
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 cup italian bread crumbs |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Beat egg with milk in a bowl and add clean, dry mushrooms. I use a bowl with a lid and shake the mushrooms until they are coated. 2. Mix dry ingredients together and add the mushrooms coated with the egg mixture. Again shake the mushrooms until they are covered thoroughly with bread crumb mix. 3. Put in hot oil and cook until golden brown... under 5 minutes. |
