Ingredients:
1 cup fine dry breadcrumbs |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
6 (3/4-inch-thick) lamb loin chops |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/4 cup clarified butter |
Directions:
1. Combine breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Dip chops in egg; dredge in breadcrumb mixture. 2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chops, and cook for 5 minutes, turning to brown both sides. 3. Transfer chops to a 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until chops are tender. |
