this is a nice addition for the Thanksgiving Turkey Ingredients:
large onions |
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
3 quarts soft bread crumbs |
1/2 cup water or giblet broth |
1 cup sliced celery |
2 tsp salt |
1/8 tsp pepper |
1 table spoon poultry seasoning |
Directions:
1. Chop onions fine 2. Cook onions in butter or margarine until soft but not brown 3. Add remaining ingredients 4. Mix thoroughly and bake until done 5. (Makes enought to stuff a 12 pound bird if desired) |
