Bread Pudding With Wine Sauce |

Ingredients:
8 slices bread |
3 cups milk |
3 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup raisins |
grape wine sauce |
Directions:
1. Soak bread in milk in a large mixing bowl 10 minutes. Place bread in a well-greased 2-quart casserole, and set aside. Reserve milk in mixing bowl. 2. Add eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, and raisins to reserved milk; beat well. Pour over bread in casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 1 hour. Spoon into individual serving dishes, and serve hot or at room temperature with Grape Wine |
