Ingredients:
1 cup milk |
1 1/2 teaspoons shortening |
1 1/3 cups whole wheat flour |
2/3 cup bread flour |
1/4 cup cornmeal |
2 teaspoons brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon dried sage, crushed |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon active dry yeast or 1 teaspoon bread machine yeast |
Directions:
1. Add all of the ingredients to a bread machine according to the manufacturer's directions. 2. Bake the bread using the wheat, regular, or white setting. |
