This is based on a recipe from BH&G's cookbook, More Bread Machine Bounty. This makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf in your bread machine. Ingredients:
1 cup dark beer or 1 cup beer |
2 tablespoons dark beer or 2 tablespoons beer |
1 tablespoon butter |
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour |
1 cup bread flour |
2 tablespoons honey or 2 tablespoons molasses |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon active dry yeast |
Directions:
1. Add ingredients to your bread machine in the order recommended by its manufacturer. 2. Use a basic bread cycle. |
