this is my private recipe.it is an interesting dessert. Ingredients:
12 dried bread |
4 cups water |
2 cups sugar |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/2 cup rum |
1/3 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
250 g cream, shanti |
1 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Boil the water and sugar and lemon juice until sugar melts and it reaches the right consistency. 2. Place the breads in a large dish. 3. whisk the milk with cream shanti and add ginger. 4. cool the syrup and add the rum. 5. then pour over the breads. 6. take pieces from shanti and place on breads. 7. and sprinkle cinnamon over. |
