Brawny Broccoli

As Mom always said, Broccoli is good for you so cook up a bunch today. Recipe comes from the newspaper.
Ingredients:
1 lb broccoli
4 slices bacon
3 green onions, chopped
3/4 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
Directions:
1. Cook broccoli in a small amount of water,or steam until just tender; drain and set aside.
2. While broccoli is cooking, fry bacon in skillet until crisp; remove, crumble and set aside.
3. Drain skillet.
4. Add onions to skillet; cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add walnuts, cook stirring frequently for 5 minutes or until golden.
6. Stir in bacon and broccoli; heat through.
7. Serve.
