This recipe goes with Steamed Chocolate Pudding Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened |
1 cup sugar |
4 egg yolks |
1 cup whipping cream |
pinch of salt |
1/4 cup brandy |
Directions:
1. Cream butter in top of a double boiler; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add whipping cream and salt, beating well. Place over boiling water; cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in brandy. Serve warm with Steamed Chocolate Pudding. |
