Brandy Butter, is usually served with Christmas Pudding or Mince Pies, but it is really good, if you put some on a warm baked apple.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons brandy
Directions:
1. Cream the butter until very pale and soft. Beat in the sugar gradually.
2. Add the brandy , a few drops at a time, beating constantly. Add enough for a good flavor but be careful that it does not curdle.
3. Pile into a small serving dish and let harden. Alternatively, spread onto aluminum foil and chill until firm. Cut into shapes with small fancy cutters.
