BRANDY BALLS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dawson Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
3 cups vanilla wafers finely crushed |
2 cups powdered sugar |
1 cup pecans finely chopped |
1/4 cup cocoa |
1/2 cup brandy |
1/4 cup light corn syrup |
powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix crushed wafers, powdered sugar, pecans and cocoa. 2. Stir in brandy and corn syrup then shape mixture into 1” balls and roll in sugar. 3. Cover tightly and refrigerate several days. |
