BRANDY BAKED BRIE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hartman Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1984.
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup brandy
2 cups chopped walnuts
2 pound wheel of brie
Directions:
1. In small mixing bowl combine brown sugar and brandy then stir in walnuts.
2. Place brie on top of oven proof platter and spoon walnut mixture over top covering completely.
3. Wrap platter in plastic and refrigerate for at least two hours.
4. Preheat oven to 400 then remove brie from refrigerator then unwrap and bake 15 minutes.
5. Cool slightly and serve with graham crackers.
