I got this recipe from a The Creative Christmas Kitchen. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar |
1 cup water |
1 (16 ounce) package frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed and drained |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
1/2 cup brandy |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, combine sugar and water. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. 2. Stir in strawberries and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. 3. Remove from heat, stir in brandy. 4. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. 5. Serve with cake or ice cream. |
