Another Paul Deen recipe. When I have a nice steak grilled on the barbeque - I MUST have mushrooms. This recipe filled the ticket! Onyl thing I do different is mix up different kinds of mushrooms. Ingredients:
3 pounds fresh button mushrooms, sliced lengthwise |
8 tablespoons butter |
seasoned salt |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
1/2 cup brandy |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet (do not crowd mushrooms), saute the sliced mushrooms in the butter until brown. Sprinkle liberally with seasoning salt. Add Worcestershire sauce and simmer until almost all sauce is absorbed by the mushrooms. Add the brandy and continue to simmer until mushrooms are tender. 2. Serve with steak or roast beef. |
