Brandied Cranberries

These are delicious. Serve with holiday meals. I recommend using fresh cranberries but, frozen maybe substituted.
Ingredients:
1 lb cranberries
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup fruit-flavored brandy
Directions:
1. Butter a 1 qt glass-baking dish.
2. Put berries in dish.
3. Put Sugar on top (do not stir).
4. Cover tightly with foil.
5. Bake 300° for 1 hour.
6. Uncover, add brandy, and stir gently.
7. Bake uncovered 15 minutes more.
8. Cool and refrigerate in a glass container.
9. This is excellent served hot as a side dish.
10. Sprinkle with additional sugar if desired.
