This is recipe number 2 for Brandied Cranberries...both recipes are wonderful. Ingredients:
2 12 oz. bags of cranberries |
1 c. brandy |
2 c. brown sugar |
3 c. granulated sugar |
2 c. water |
Directions:
1. 1. Wash and soak berries for 1/2 hour. 2. 2. Drain and place berries in pot w/water. 3. 3. Boil five minutes and then simmer 10 minutes. 4. 4. Drain water, add brandy and both sugars and 1/4 C. of water. 5. 5. Stir gently and simmer another five minutes. 6. You may add more water if the sauce is too thick. |
