This was a Kelloggs recipe from 1945. Delicious! Ingredients:
2 cups all-bran cereal |
1/2 cup molasses |
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 egg |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
1 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Combine all bran, molasses, and milk. 3. Beat egg and add to bran mixture. 4. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and ginger. 5. Sit into wet mixture. 6. Stir in raisins. 7. Grease muffin tins and fill 2/3 full. 8. Bake about 20 minutes at 400F. 9. Remove from pan and cool on racks. |
