My tweak on some other recipes I've found here. Ingredients:
3 cups kellogg's all-bran cereal |
3 cups boiling water |
3/4 cup oil |
1 cup applesauce |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
3/4 cup splenda granular |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup dry buttermilk |
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons flax seed meal |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Add boiling water to cereal. Let sit until water is absorbed. 2. Mix wet ingredients. 3. Add dry ingredients. 4. Bake as in 400F oven for 15-20 minutes. 5. Store batter in fridge for up to 6 weeks. |
