Yummy Ingredients:
2 cups water |
6 cups 100% all-bran cereal |
3 cups white sugar |
1 cup shortening |
4 eggs |
1 quart buttermilk |
5 cups flour |
5 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Cream together 1st two ingredients. 2. Cream together sugar, shortening, and eggs. 3. Add and blend in buttermilk to sugar mixture. 4. Add bran cereal mixture. 5. Add dry ingredients. 6. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Refrigerate remaining batter in covered container. Will keep 8-10 weeks. |
