Good for breakfast and snacks. Kida love it. Ingredients:
1 cup 100% stone ground whole wheat flour. |
1 tsp. baking soda |
1 1/2 c. bran |
1/2 c. raisins (optional) |
1 egg well blended |
1/2 c. honey or mollasses |
3/4 c. milk |
2 tblsp. soft butter or shortening. |
Directions:
1. Put dry ingredients & raisins into bowl. 2. Moisten with egg, honey, milk and shortening. blend together. 3. Bake in well-greased muffin tins at 400 degrees for 25-25 minutes. Makes 24 bran muffins. |
